The SeekersPath is an initiative inaugurated to provide a free question and answer service for the public on issues pertaining to Islam and wider global matters affecting the Muslim Ummah. Our team is headed by Mufti Qasim Zia al-Qadiri; a young and active scholar who completed the traditional Dars-e-Nizami, Dawra Hadith and Takhassus fil Fiqh. He has been issuing legal verdicts for over 10 years since completing the Ifta course and has also published many books. We have important contributions from several British scholars who include Ustadh Ibrar Shafi, Mawlana Mohamed Husein, Shaykh Naveed Jameel and Ustadh Asid Shafait. Our translation team, which is headed by Mawlana Haider Ali Madani, is made up of talented young and upcoming British born translators such as Mawlana Bilal Shabir, and Mawlana Zameer Ahmad.
OUR METHODOLOGY
All questions and fatawa must be answered by only righteous Sunni scholars. Any scholar who differs at all from the Aqidah of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah as most recently explained by Imam Ahmed Rida Khan (may Allah be pleased with him) is prohibited from having any involvement with SeekersPath. Any Scholar who is a public sinner is not permitted to answer questions for SeekersPath.
The answers/fatawa on our website must be verified by a qualified scholar(s) before there are added to the website. They must be answered according to the Hanafi School of Fiqh and Maturidi School of Thought.
All fatawa must be issued by a scholar who specialises in issuing legal verdicts.
Any questions that have been answered by a non-Mufti will be verified by Mufti Qasim Zia al-Qadri or an upright Scholar before being added to the website.
Any brothers involved with the running of the website (admin, translators etc.) must be affiliated to the Aqidah of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah. Those who hold any unorthodox beliefs are to be prevented to have any involvement with the running of SeekersPath.
